Ladies, ladies, ladies!!!!!! We all know that this is a transitional time in fashion as we go from our barely there clothing to layers and bundles. One thing we must be aware of is that no matter how many layers we wear it doesn't cover the dreaded V. Yes I'm talking about that horrid pantyline that haunts that perfect outfit.
But no worries....my girls at Little Pink Book have put together the perfect guide to.....well underwear. You can check their tips and below!!!!
"Pencil skirts.
Such a chic silhouette, but often challenging especially around the tummy area. The solution? A high-waisted skirt that is seamless around the derrière, to prevent VPL (visible panty lines). Make sure the high waist section of the garment has side boning or a 1-2" wide elastic waistband. If it doesn't, the waist will roll down. You don't need added distractions during that big presentation.
Pantsuits.
Nothing gives this silhouette smooth and clean lines from top to bottom like high waist tights. They are especially helpful if pants are fitting a tiny bit too small, which happens to all of us from time to time. Much like the pencil skirt, make sure the high waist section is designed properly so the garment does not cause VPL.
Blouses.
This tip is most useful for full busted ladies: consider wearing a minimizing bra to prevent blouse buttons from gapping/bulging. Also, if there's a worry that the blouse is too sheer, wear a camisole with a built-in bra underneath - preferably with a bit of shaping in the bodice."
