2014 MET Ball
This is one of the most wonderful times of the year. The fashion gods and goddesses join to grace us with some of the most unique fabric artworks. Yes it is the MET Ball and as usual the stars gave it!!!!!
It seems as if the theme were flowing gowns with extreme structure and abstract prints.
My favorites this year of course include Beyonce who wore a black semi-sheer gown to compliment Jay Z in his ivory suit. Taylor Swift was extremely elegant and feminine as always with a very classic look.

Jay Z and Beyonce took to their social media networks to officially announce their joint tour On the Run.
I'm not a fan of the name but I dig the concept.
This is going to be amazing tour and I will be in Chicago for that date.

Beyonce Talks Sexuality With Out Magazine
I stumbled across this article while I was checking out a new blog one of my followers tweeted about. It's a LGBT site blog called The Fab Femme and I'm loving it already because....well they love Beyonce.
Beyonce covered Out Magazine which is another LGBT publication and Bey talked sexuality and her new album.
Check out this excerpt from the interview.
Out: Your fifth album has been noted for being feminist, but a number of people in the LGBT community also identify with it. Were the lyrics ever written consciously with different groups in mind?
Beyoncé: While I am definitely conscious of all the different types of people who listen to my music, I really set out to make the most personal, honest, and best album I could make. I needed to free myself from the pressures and expectations of what I thought I should say or be, and just speak from the heart. Being that I am a woman in a male-dominated society, the feminist mentality rang true to me and became a way to personalize that struggle…But what I’m really referring to, and hoping for, is human rights and equality, not just that between a woman and a man. So I’m very happy if my words can ever inspire or empower someone who considers themselves an oppressed minority…We are all the same and we all want the same things: the right to be happy, to be just who we want to be and to love who we want to love.
